Caroling

December 1st, 2008

On Sunday, Dec 21st, we are all gathering to take Christmas to our church members and friends who are homebound.  We’ll carpool from the Church at 4:00 pm to make our driving easier and look forward to taking all ages to go and sing and visit.  This is not about music;  this is about God’s love that can laugh, give hugs, show we care and then, last of all, sing.  Let Kathy Morse know if there’s someone you want us to stop by and see.

Don’t Forget our Ongoing Missions

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

Don’t forget that Shiloh tithed  to  two missions for the year 2008:  We are sponsoring RoseHaven Transitional Home for Women and Children at $100/mo. and the Louisville Hispanic Outreach at $200/mo…  Hopefully you put a little something extra into an envelope (provided in the pew) each Sunday towards these outreaches.

Morning Prayer Group

Saturday, August 30th, 2008

Is anyone else interested in a morning prayer group that would gather once a week to pray for Shiloh Church and her concerns, and also explore prayer as a spiritual practice? We could meet as early as 8 am or later and it could be Monday, Tuesday or Thursday. If you’re interested, just let Pastor Susan know and we’ll pick a time we can get together and explore what we might want to do.

New Calendars

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

Check out the new calendars on the Calendar Page.  As you can see we’re now using Google Calendar to act as the Master Calendar for Church activities and groups meeting at Shiloh.  It has additional features as invitation lists that will help us remind people of meetings and events.  Let us know what you think.
