Happy New Year to All our Youth!

Saturday, January 1st, 2011

You all ended 2010 with a flurry of stocking making, Christmas box filling, pageant performing, and partying fun and it’s time to begin 2011 without pausing too much.

Join us each Wednesday at 7:00 and have fun with friends as we also learn how to have fellowship with God.

Don’t miss the first Wednesday of each month as we go to Breath of Life at 5:30 to share good times with our friends there.image

Save the weekend of January 28-30th —we’re off to WinterBlitz at Broadbent Arena this year for Friday evening through Saturday evening with a lock-in for Friday night at two of our youth leaders’ homes.

Hey Youth! Hold onto your hats!

This is going to be a busy month!  In the midst of all the holidayimage activities lets be focusing on celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  If we keep Him as our main focus we are assured to have a holiday filled with peace, contentment and joy.  Share the gift of Jesus with someone this season!
Here’s the schedule:
Dec 1 - Breath of Life
Dec 15 - We will go with the choir to Friendship Manor to visit the residents and bring them some holiday cheer!
Dec 22 - Christmas Party(details are coming!)
Dec 24 - Christmas Eve Service 8pm
Dec 29 - Looking ahead to 2011!
Let’s be keeping Winter Blitz 2011 in the back of our minds!  It will be held Jan 28-30.  Check out www.theflame.info for more information.
It has been an amazing year and we’re looking forward to the coming year doing life together!

Youth Mission

Saturday, February 13th, 2010

What:  Shiloh Youth will be working with EDGE  Outreach on Saturday, Feb 27th and we would love to have any and all members of the church join us.  Our day will start at 9am and be finished by 5pm.

Where: Our plan is to help St Peter’s Church in downtown Louisville serve breakfast to the homeless in the morning and then to work at a daycare center on 41st Street for the remainder of the day.

More info:  The exact details of our actual day are being worked out but we will keep you posted as we get closer. The only part of the plan for the day that we are absolutely sure of is that we will spend the day loving God and loving people!

To do:  Join us!   You will be blessed as you are blessing others! See Sherry Parker for more info.
